Hi. You probably only clicked on this to get a closer look at the profile picture (we all do it). Still I should probably write some stuff.
I'm 14 and I live in the UK (no stalkers please).
I love quirky, fun, adult-ish books, Carol Ann Duffy and The IT Crowd.
I don't like One Direction or Justin Beiber.
Just say if you want to write something together: I don't post a lot of stuff and it would be nice to get involved.

    mumbled "Uggghhhhh..."

Is anyone else sick of only hearing about the same 3 or four books? Don't get me wrong, I luuurrrvvvveee reading, but I'm getting kind of sick of Divergent, then Percy Jackson, then Divergent again, the Harry Potter, then The Hunger Games, then The Fault in Our Stars, then The Maze Runner, then Divergent again. O_o
Yes, I completely agree. Much as I may have treasured a lengthy attachment to Harry Potter the range of popular literature is sadly very limited. if I hear another word about The Fault in Our Stars I may just spontaneously combust in frustration.
It might be good but it's not the masterpiece people are claiming and it is equally not full of perfectly nuanced characters and metaphors, regardless of what everyone says!

Sign me up :) Unfortunately bullying is a part of human nature and would be impossible to wipe out, but I fully support anything taking a stand against it. A guy at our school committed suicide around a year ago and they think bullying had a large part to play in it. What you are doing is really good - keep it up! :)
Any form of bullying can lead to serious consequences. Cyber bullying is one of the worst form(s) of bullying. Suicide is the most common. Death is no joke. I've lost two (now three) of my best friends...

This was deep... :') The family conversation was a bit unrealistic ('your wonderful lips that Jordan craves'?! - what Dad would say that? Unless she just has a really creepy Dad). I loved the poem! One more thing though: if you were to vanish for a long period of time, then mysteriously return there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY I wouldn't make you tell me everything immediately. Still, I guess it would be kind of awkward seeing as she was only 9 when it happened... But it would be the talk of the school: everyone would want some of that story, including the teachers. I guess everyone wouldn't find out straight away. Dammit. Now I was to know what happened to her... Update!!!
    Missed Me?

This is really good! Same kind of concept as Uglies (by Scott Westerfeld - you should read it!) except this is about more than just beauty. Keep writing :)
